Dear Human Resources Department,

My name is Angel Martinez Ines. I would love to apply for the position of Crew Member at Chipotle in the Cross County Mall. I was going one day to Chipotle with my family to dine in, and I saw an opening for a Crew Member. I always enjoy the food and love the atmosphere created by the friendly crew at the restaurant. I love the aspect of Chipotle that it strives to always contain fresh ingredients in its establishments. Most places don’t have that, and I believe we should take care of our bodies by eating healthy food. Also, the location isn’t far from where I live, so it wouldn’t be much of a challenge to get to work on time, ready to present my best. Since I grew up in the Mexican Community, I have always been surrounded by Mexican cuisine, and Chipotle does a good job replicating the same touch that my mom makes in her food.

Hence, I believe that with my skills in customer service, service, and food, and my ability to work under pressure, I can thrive as a Crew Member at Chipotle. As a cashier at Singa’s Pizzeria, I can take orders and provide excellent customer service so people can feel the same love I have for Chipotle. This would, in turn, make customers have a deeper connection with Chipotle, and they would be more inclined to come back and/or tell their friends about this location. I have experience setting up a restaurant and closing up, and maintaining inventory, which is key since I would be proactive, and the establishment wouldn’t be a mess. When I was in high school, I loved cooking, and I joined the culinary course. With that, I learned how to use a knife, how to cook and bake, and how to be hygienic in the kitchen. I learned very quickly how to cook certain foods and have a good job keeping food consistent. Since I have a big family, we always cook in vast quantities, so I got sort of used to cooking a big batch of food. Therefore, I truly think I have what it takes to excel as a Crew Member at Chipotle and hold the values and standards of the establishment, and spread the love and joy of Chipotle.

I’ve attached my current resume, showing my qualifications up to par with the expectations needed for the position.

My availability hours would be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 am to 5 pm.
